由JSTOR 提供會員試用非洲農作物相關期刊精選資料庫-Aluka。Aluka收錄非洲地區農作物的數位化內容，共分為三大主題： African Plants 、African Cultural Heritage Sites and Landscapes 、Struggles for Freedom in Southern Africa 的相關文獻。其中 African Plants 的內容建置較完整，約有280,000筆資料，包含植物的樣本、照片、技術、參考工具與非洲的歷史考察檔案紀錄等，對於研究非洲農業及植物的學者是一大助益。另二個主題將陸續建置完成。

e-print arXiv是由美國國家科學基金會和美國能源部資助,在美國洛斯阿拉莫斯（Los Alamos）國家實驗室建立的電子預印本文獻庫，始建於1991年8月。該預印本資料庫由Dr. Ginsparg發起，旨在促進科學研究成果的交流與共用。 
??e-print arXiv目前包含物理學、數學、非線性科學、電腦科學四個學科共計17萬篇預印本文獻。研究者按照一定的格式將論文進行排版後，通過E-mail、FTP等方式、按學科類別上傳至相應的庫中。要說明的是，送入預印本庫中的論文是不經過任何審核的，也沒有任何先決條件決定某一論文能否送入e-print arXiv庫中，實際上這是默認了文責自負的原則。收入該庫中的論文可以受到同行隨時隨地的評論，論文作者也可以對這種評論進行反駁，論文作者在將論文提交e-print arXiv的同時，也可以將論文提交學術期刊正式發表，論文一旦在某種期刊上發表，在e-print arXiv中的該論文記錄中將會加入文獻正式發表期刊的卷期資訊。
e-print arXiv預印本文獻庫對加快科學研究成果的交流與共用，幫助研究者追蹤本學科的最新研究進展，避免研究工作的重復等方面都大有裨益，對科學研究者有很高的參考價值。 請注意：該站點的全文文獻有多種格式（例如PS、PDF、DVI等），需要安裝對應的全文瀏覽器才能閱讀，尤其是PS格式，還要求在UNIX系統下安裝PS格式的瀏覽軟體。因此，建議大家點選“other”，選擇廣泛通用PDF格式瀏覽全文。

The Scientific Electronic Library Online - SciELO is an electronic library covering a selected collection of Brazilian scientific journals.
The scientific library - SciELO Chile, is an electronic virtual library covering a selected collection of Chilean scientific journals.
This project of regional character, it is being developed in Chile by the National Commission of Scientific and Technological Research (CONICYT).
The project SciELO is FAPESP's iniciative (Foundation of Support to the Investigation of São Paulo State) and of BIREME (Latin American and Caribbean Center on Health Sciences Information). This project envisages the development of a common methodology for the preparation, storage, dissemination and evaluation of scientific literature in electronic format. At present seven Latin-American countries including Spain take part in SciELO: Argentine, Brasil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Spain, Venezuela and the SciELO sites in Public Health and Social Sciences, exist initiatives in development of other five countries: Costa Rica, Mexico, Peru, Portugal and Uruguay.
Across the portal SciELO.org that integrates and provides access to the SciELO network sites, the users can realize searches in the whole SciELO collections or to level of a country especially.

華文生技網有鑑於中文化之生技專業資訊之缺乏，且生技相關資源整合不足，歷經半年的規劃，於2000年12月11日成立華文生技網。華文生技網將本著中立的立場及服務華人的基本精神，初步將先以台灣為基礎，提供"全方位免費專業生技資訊"，包括生技新聞、生技特論、生技活動訊息、實驗操作指南以及生技辭典；"全方位免費專業生技互動交流"，包括求職求才、討論留言等；及"全方位生技資源整合的電子商務" 服務。期以促進產官學方面的充分交流，進而希望促成兩岸三地，甚至國際華人世界間彼此的充分交流。
