討論與Blog相關的技術，不可不談的就是RSS，這個縮寫在英文中可以有幾個源頭，並被不同的技術團契做不同的解釋。既可以是“Rich Site Summary”，或“RDF Site Summary”，也可以是“Really Simple Syndication”。 |

RSS的英文全稱是Really Simple Syndication，是一種透過XML(eXtensible Markup Language)特性所制定的格式，讓網站的管理者可以把網頁內容傳給訂閱戶。這是個有點像電子報和新聞群組(Newsgroup)的東西，但是賦予讀者更大的自訂能力和更豐富的資料。 |

RSS 是簡易資訊聚合 (Really Simple Syndication) 的簡稱，RSS 採用一個 XML
的檔案格式，只要你把 RSS 內容的網址，加到你的 RSS 閱讀軟件 (RSS
Reader)，每當該網頁內容更新時，更新了的摘要便會自動加到你的閱讀軟件之內，通知你有關內容。 透過 RSS 的使用，供應網頁內容的人可以很容易地產生並傳播新聞鏈結、標題和摘要等資料。 如何使用RSS? RSS 閱讀軟件 (RSS Reader) 或支援 RSS 的瀏覽器 (Browser) 會幫你下載和顯示 RSS 新聞資訊。 |
